For this semester I am doing prints of the drawings I have done with pencil and sharpies! I feel that this will transfer nicely, but for this class I plan on doing large paintings/drawings on canvas! soooo.....
1. Will paint be a successful medium for the type of work I am doing?
2. What can I do to get the sharp edges I want?
3. Should I just draw on the canvas instead of using paint? Or both?
4. Should I use color or just black and white like my drawings?
5. Even though I am experienced in paint....will paint be too much of a challenge for this type of work and is it worth the risk of failure?
From writing these questions down, I have come to the conclusion I will be using markers along with paint. I also want to stick with the black and white considering most of my work is overwhelming with color! I am excited to do these pieces because I have fallen in love with detailed drawing and cant wait to sit and create!!!! wish me luck!!!
